why go through all the trouble of bread boarding a circuit to blink an IR LED at 32 Khz when you can just plug in a module that will do it for you, and let you enable or disable it with a logic signal? When building robots, sometimes you need to use 32 Khz modulated IR, for detecting obstacles, sending data or whatever. This module saves board space and makes testing that nifty idea of yours a SNAP!
